moving freely again

we are all held captive to something.
tonight was the first time in a long time where i haven’t felt weighed down by anything, but felt free to move in unison with the Holy Spirit.
freedom feels like dancing, like singing, like shouting, like crying, like laughing. so we dance. we sing. we shout. we cry. we laugh.

we learn to love again. we are free to love because love has set us free.

i have seen a lot, been through a lot, faced a lot, talked a lot, and listened a lot in the past four months of my life. i have seen redemption flowing in the hearts of girls anywhere from the ages of 6 to 20 something. i have been through hard times with friends; running away of something that could have been good because i was badly burned. i have encountered Satan trying to beat me down, but the Lord gave me strength in my times of weakness. i have poured out my heart to so many students this summer in hopes that they would not make the same mistakes that i have made in the past and truly start to live for God now, in the present rather than wait for something to happen to them. i have listened to story after story of people facing hell on earth, and how people walk away from the Lord.

what are you captive to? better yet, what has been holding you back from loving the Lord with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30)? what has been holding you back from giving the Lord all of yourself only to see how He will use you for HIS glory, and for HIS purpose in bringing the Kingdom to earth?

let go of it, and let God work. let the blood run through your once white knuckles and feel the embrace of the Father. He loves you so much.

you are not alone in what you are going through. know that you are not alone and that God is faithful, and just, and will pull you out of whatever it is that you are going through. you just have to reach out to Him. He has never abandoned you.

my heart is still healing from a lot of hurt. but i now see people how Jesus would see them. they are in desperate need of a Savior. i can be the one who helps guide them to that Savior.

praise God for His patience that He has had in me. praise God for His faithfulness that He has had in me. now it is my turn to return the favor.
